Tasty Freez nostalgic soft serve ice cream which started in 1950 in Joliet Illinois, i believe is one of eight left in the United States and still faithfully serving awesome small towns like Bennington in Vermont.

Reasonably priced, homey ice cream place. Cash only. Vermont shake was good but could’ve had more maple syrup. Crunch topping on soft serve is supposedly nuts but I couldn’t identify what kind.

Spent a couple of hours here enjoying sitting by the Rail-to-Trail relaxing and eating a large & delicious plate of fish & chips. The service was very friendly, quick, and courteous. The food was cooked to order, a large portion and absolutely delicious. Wish I had kept leftovers :).

One. There are only 8 left. Two. Classic Americana. Had small fries, double cheeseburger and jalapeno cheddar burger. Hit the spot. Staff very friendly.

Quick. Great tasting. Lots of options. Ladies at the counter were very nice and had great smiles. Reasonable prices. Easy parking. Clean tables. Stopped by for lunch. Chili dog was basic - meaty chili on a butterflied grilled hot dog - it was messy and everything a chili dog should be. I see myself stopping there for a chili dog by myself for some "self care" moments. For 5 meals, drinks, and 5 desserts we spent under 80, left full and happy. No complaints or items to critique which is rare for us. Also loved that's its across from the deer park so the kidd enjoyed a little post meal walk to see the ducks and the deer.

Super quirky decorations with a nautical theme. Our granddaughter loved all the mermaids sprinkled everywhere. My chili cheeseburger had the perfect amount of chili. The fries were very tasty, and the creemees were good.

This place is pretty darn good. Basic menu with well cooked food. French Fries are cut thick and cooked to perfection. It is cash only, so be ready with money and tip the staff. Burgers are a staple to this restaurant’s menu, and they delivered.

It's a nice place to go with family. Can get a little pricey but is good food and ice cream. There is a deer park across the street where you can sit with your family and eat .
